I have no idea how many trucks have passed through my local dealer. I have yet to see a Maverick on their lot, but I know my brother in laws father bought one from them.
Before COVID they predominenlty moved trucks. Very few SUVs or cars ever on their lot. Now they seem to have a mix of everything.
Ok thanks. The other thing is I'm looking at a Hybrid. I know the Granger $3k was Ecoboosts only.
I didn't pay attention to what deals were Ecoboost vs Hybrid other than that one.
So those that took advantage of the deals such as those from Granger and Chapman, it's just whatever they offered plus whatever factory rebates or private cash offers you have correct?
I contacted my local dealer to get details and with customer orders they don't have any required add-ons or...
I'm waiting a year but it isn't because I want to see how it does!
I can't do the 2.0 based off the mileage people on here are saying they're getting. It's no better than my current vehicle.
Wouldn't that require one to forgo any kind of rebates or discounts (not that there are or will be any), unless there are some locked in at said time of agreement?
Just out of curiosity what does the Escape come with that the Maverick Lariat Lux doesn't come with? I tried building them and the Escape comes out more expensive, with what I can tell the same stuff. I could have missed something though.
Why even make it an option? To add cruise to a steering wheel costs what, under $100 once WE buy the switches and cable and pay for FORSCAN.
So a massed produced vehicle, that recycles parts from other vehicles, probably costs Ford pennies to do at the factory.
The lack of cruise is purely a...
I was agreeing with you that bright is good.
In fact just Friday night my buddy had to back a trailer into his driveway. Tree on one side, soupy wet yard on the other. Couldn't see shit because the factory backup lights on his truck suck.
Maybe a batch of bad ambient temp sensors.
Different vehicle but on my wife's van the temp sensor connector got water in it so it wasn't reading ambient correct and doing some funky stuff because of it
I believe I paid $3.60 for diesel a few days ago.
I'm in a 95 Ram diesel. During the winter with lots of idling to get warm I get about 21. During the warmer months with no idling I'm getting about 26.
My vehicle is a to and from work only. About 5 miles local 35 to 45 mph roads, then 30...
I wish the 2.0 got consistently better mileage.
It seems it would be more fun to drive than the hybrid, but can't justify something that gets barely better, and sometimes reported as worse, mileage than my current truck.
Especially if it takes 91 or 93 to get that barely better mileage since...
I'm 34, and most people I know interested or already own are older than me.
Everyone seems to have the same reason for liking the Maverick so much. And that's because it's what the Ranger used to be. A small daily usable pickup truck.
Not a lot of the younger folks probably even remember the...
Any concerns on the transmission with the power gains? Everything out there says 8F35 which is borderline for stock power based on what Ford says it's rated for.
However there is one member on here who said 5 Star told him it's the same trans in the Edge ST which is the 8F57
