I live in south east Indiana, even our worst winters these last few years it's been very few days below 10 degrees. Most right around freezing.
I learned a valuable lesson with my current diesel and that's block warmers are great and whatever Maverick I order in September will have one.
It's a...
I'm curious how this would do on an otherwise stock truck.
I'm looking at a 4k package to tow a pop up, but that would only be maybe once or twice a year stressing the truck through the Smokies. Otherwise it would be local tows on essentially flat roads and daily driving to and from work.
I...
Or they don't readily have the supplies required to consistently build the hybrids to completion? So rather than not build anything dedicate their effort to the Ecoboosts they can build.
Good lord are there some dramatic people on here. Not everything Ford does is because they're out to get you
Honestly the keyless stuff is what really gets me.
Never had adaptive cruise or lane centering, so I don't know what I'm missing. My wife's van has keyless and I hate switching back to my truck during the week.
If keyless was on the XL I probably wouldn't even consider anything else
I actually have seen the inside of a XLT. Actually I've seen the interior of all 3.
My problem with the XLT is I don't feel the price jump from XL to XLT is justified by the options you get
Until Ford decided to push the order date back!
I was just going to go in and bite the bullet and order the Lariat Lux. I drive 70 miles a day, so the ACC and Lane Centering would be nice. My wife's van has keyless push button start and I love not having to fish out my keys. Wireless phone...
Based on the picture of the buttons in the first post I'm taking it as AWD that can be locked into 50/50 split. Then an additional button that can lock the rear diff, or leave it to act as a clutched limited slip.
I'm sure it being locked 50/50 is only certain drive modes/under certain speeds...
Wouldn't airbags accomplish the same thing?
This doesn't increase your towin capacity, it levels out your vehicle when your payload is causing it to be nose high. I'm not sure I'd want someting sticking out several feet past the back of my vehicle, using the hitch/frame as a fulcrum point to...
Where exactly does everyone think these dealerships are going to go?
You think the sale of used cars will no longer exist? The manufacturers going to start doing direct used sales along with new?
Dealerships will still exist as service centers and a place to buy a used vehicle.
No, google it. It's very well documented that it was addressed with a redesign in 2019/2020 and the updated design doesn't have this issue. It has been addressed on this forum as well.
It says right in the description it's a 2014, and the only fix is with the updated block design.
You think they have 2 different blocks sitting around, waiting until you have a leak, to give you the good block?
This was resolved in I believe 2019? For some reason the same story about the leak...
I'm amazed any dealer asks for a deposit right now. The less you have tied to it the easier you can walk away and them mark it up. Even a refundable deposit might make you second guess saying I don't want/can't take it.
Hell I'm not giving my business to the dealership my father in law is a...
