In my opinion, those Bronco takeoffs look terrible. I voted for the steelies, because I have a soft spot for that style of wheel. Having said that, I'm presently looking for a new set of wheels for my lairat Mav and I neither of these wheels would be my choice.

On my Canadian Lariat the center lights only work as turn signals. So for my Mav these bulbs would only work as turn signals. I guess that would solve the possible overheating problem.....

If you're concerned about running gear issues you may want to look at long(er) term reviews on the Escape Hybrid, which has the same running gear, but a slightly different CVT transmission.

For future oil changes you may want to invest in an oil filter wrench set. I've owned a set for a number of years and have found them to be very useful. Here's an example on Amazon: oil filter wrench set

Thanks for the video. I plan on doing an oil change on my eco boost Maverick at 500 miles too. Thankfully, I have a hoist. 🥳 I bought one when I retired. 25 years of wrenching while lying on a cold cement floor was enough for me.

My lariat's headlight looks to have a regular orange bulb, so I'm guessing it's the same as what's in the XL and XLT headlight.

With today's sky-high used car prices the Mav was probably cheaper. :LOL:

Just checked out Ford.ca-no lux pack presently offered on the XLT. There's still a box where the lux pack was, but it's no longer working. Must be a glitch in the Matrix.....
