I have a Fumoto on my motorhome.....love it.
It's been on just over a year and zero problems/leaks.
When they become available I'll seriously consider putting one on my Maverick.
I recently bought a Garmin 47 for my Lariat Mav and realized that my dash cam would not shut down when I turned off the ignition. Since I park my Maverick in my garage and don't put a lot of miles on my truck this was not going to work for me.
So, here's what I did:
1. buy a cable that will...
FX4 dark charcoal wheels would look nice. I have mixed feeling on black coloured wheels. With some vehicle colours they look great, but on others they (my opinion) look like cheap winter rims. Sorry New England Aaron, but that includes your setup.
That's not saying I don't like black coloured...
I would love to see someone buy this kit, then do a 0-60 stock run and a 0-60 run with the air filter kit installed.
Hp numbers on a dyno are nice to brag about, but the improvement in performance is what counts for me.
I'm not saying that this kit won't produce shorter 0-60 times.....I just...
In my opinion, those Bronco takeoffs look terrible. I voted for the steelies, because I have a soft spot for that style of wheel.
Having said that, I'm presently looking for a new set of wheels for my lairat Mav and I neither of these wheels would be my choice.
On my Canadian Lariat the center lights only work as turn signals. So for my Mav these bulbs would only work as turn signals.
I guess that would solve the possible overheating problem.....
I also have one of these, along with my oil filter wrench kit. I use mine when I have a filter that is an odd size and I'm unable to use my oil filter wrench kit.
The only downside is you can't 'snug-up' the oil filter with this wrench (at least I haven't figured out how).
There's no such...
If you're concerned about running gear issues you may want to look at long(er) term reviews on the Escape Hybrid, which has the same running gear, but a slightly different CVT transmission.
For future oil changes you may want to invest in an oil filter wrench set. I've owned a set for a number of years and have found them to be very useful.
Here's an example on Amazon:
oil filter wrench set
Thanks for the video. I plan on doing an oil change on my eco boost Maverick at 500 miles too.
Thankfully, I have a hoist. 🥳
I bought one when I retired. 25 years of wrenching while lying on a cold cement floor was enough for me.
Just checked out Ford.ca-no lux pack presently offered on the XLT.
There's still a box where the lux pack was, but it's no longer working.
Must be a glitch in the Matrix.....
I really like that Momo wheel....if it came in silver.
My Maverick has iconic silver paint, which I think (personal opinion here) looks best with a bright coloured wheel.
I'm a fan of black/charcoal coloured wheels on most paint colours, but not silver.
Here's what I presently thinking of...
For a decade I spent a fair amount of time (and money) tracking various vehicles I've owned. During that time period I've watched, followed, and passed (in my V8 Miata) a number of Subaru STIs and that all sounded like crap, no matter what exhaust system they had.
Don't get me wrong, I really...
I have an iconic silver lariat Maverick and plan on adding a new set of wheels next year. I recently purchased snow tires and had them mounted on the stock wheels, which is fine for me, as I find the stock wheels mildly ugly.
I'm generally a fan of black wheels (have two sets for my wife's...
Thanks for the writeup.
I'm hard wiring my dash cam in tomorrow.
I'm wiring my dash cam with on/off wiring only, so I'll only need one 'add a circuit' holder.
I was surprised at how hard it was to find Micro2 fuses and circuit holder in my small town.
I could have ordered them from Amazon, but...
