One thing you should consider it the wheel's load rating.
Twice I've selected wheels on an online tire/wheel source only to have them email/phone me saying that they could not sell me the wheels I selected because their load rating was too low.
I was told that even though there is a large...
Previously, I've owned two Ford trucks-a 1997 F150 and a 2000 Ranger.
The F150 was a new model and it did have some issues (exhaust system had to be rerouted and it had a new transmission installed under warranty.
Other than that it was very reliable. Eventually, I sold a family member, who...
The difference between Jan Terri and myself is I bought my Maverick for MSRP.
Dealers charge more than MSRP because they know there are fools like Jan Terri who will pay extra because they just have to have want they want NOW.
If everyone stuck to their guns and refused to pay anything over MSRP...
I changed the oil in my Maverick a couple of days ago, at 1000 miles. I also installed my Ford mud flaps at the same time.
I did come across an odd feature on my Maverick-the engine hood lever can't be pulled with the driver's door closed. The lever makes contact with the door panel.
Design...
I like the simplicity of a five spoke wheel, especially when it come to cleaning them.
I just bought a set of wheels that are similar and should have them in a week or two.
I have new wheels coming for my Maverick, but the online source I bought the wheels from couldn't include the TMPS sensors because they were not able to program them.
What has anyone who installed new wheels on their Maverick's done for TMPS sensors?
Is my best option to go to the dealer and...
I have a new set of aftermarket wheels on the way, and the online wheel company I bought them from phone me to let me know they couldn't program the TPMS sensors that I ordered along with the wheels. They said they didn't have the programming information yet for such a new vehicle.
I guess the...
I bought my OEM mud flaps with my Ford points.
I'll install the mud flaps when I do my first oil change (in a couple of weeks). I have a hoist, so I can raise the truck up and stand while installing them.
Much easier on this old body. :)
I have to admit that a stock Maverick (eco boost) sounds like a sewing machine that's on its last legs.
An exhaust with a deeper sound would be nice, but I can't justify replacing a new exhaust system.
In 2000 I bought a new Ford Ranger with the 4.0 litre V6. I didn't like the sound of that...
Just installed my rear seat pet cover from 4Knines. The flash from the camera (iPhone) gives the seat cover more of a wrinkled look than it actually has.
I'm happy with the quality of the cover and how well it fits the Maverick's back seat.
