The original idea behind fog lights was that a driver used them instead of his headlights when it was foggy. The lights were mounted low and the beam stayed low to the ground, where there was less fog.
Since the introduction of 'always-on' headlights in Canada headlights can't be turned off...
Here's a photo of my new (wet and dirty) lariat after I got it home from the dealership.
Personally, I don't like the wheels and will be changing them sometime in the near future.
The big question is do I go with all black or silver.
I like black coloured wheels, but I'm not sure how they would...
Personally, I can't warm up to the Santa Cruz's looks. Many may like how it looks, but I don't.
I am very happy I went with the Lariat trim, even though it's expensive.
If I had been able to get my hands on a 2022 Honda Ridgeline (base model) within a month or two I would have gone that route...
I picked up my silver lariat a couple of days ago. The darker grey would have been my preferred choice, but I bought mine off a dealership lot and that was the available colour.
I'm not a fan of the factory 18" wheels and I've been debating whether I should, somewhere down the road, go with...
Isn't the main reason why someone would buy this intake is to increase the performance?
Why the laughing tears to my speed run suggestion?
To me hp numbers on a graph are all well and good, but the real measure of a product's performance gain will be on-the-road-performance.
To be clear, I'm...
Maybe it's my age (I'm old), but I don't like the sound of that dual exhaust setup. Having said that, the stock engine/exhaust sounds like a whizzing sewing machine.
There's got to be something in-between.
I'd like to see the results of two 0-60 or 1/4 mile runs with the stock and aftermarket air intakes.
Since the swap only takes 5 minutes it should be very easy to make the two runs back-to-back.
You should look up the definition of the word 'hate'.
Challenging someone on their product's performance figures is NOT hate.
Disagreeing with someone is NOT hate.
Buschur has the right to produce the product and list its performance improvements and others have the right to challenge those figures.
I like the look of that tire. (y)
Using a wheel offset calculator these wheels will decrease your inner clearance by 14mm (just over half an inch), and retract from the outer fender by 2mm.
No absolute guarantee, but I think they would fit, using the stock tire.
I hated the auto stop-start on my BMW X1, but luckily I was able to turn it completely off.
I'm hoping there will be some way to do the same on my new Maverick.
I test drove a Lariat was was going to buy it until I realized it didn't come with a heated steering wheel and heated seats. I'd rather have the XLT with the lux package, which does come with a heated steering wheel and heated seats.
Having said that, I ended up buying a Lariat with the Lux...
When I priced out a Maverick Lariat I realized the price was getting close to the base price of a Honda Ridgeline.
Personally, I prefer the Ridgeline, but I like the smaller size of the Maverick. I went ahead and asked an automotive broker I've used in the past to order me a Sport Ridgeline...
Before the pandemic hit I test drove a Ranger. I was not impressed and didn't buy one.
A couple of weeks ago I test drove a Maverick (Lariat) and was impressed.
A couple of days ago I bought one.
