Drove it Friday. They are a little it proud of it askinking over 40k. Honestly was underwhelmed with the drive feel of the AWD. If it had felt more rear wheel biased and fun I could see the appeal but for Florida I think the Hybrid is worth waiting for on this truck..
Unless your going over 15mph in reverse I would think 1kw would get you a good mile or two in reverse. I get 4+miles/kw going 30s and 40s forward around town flogging it at the lights.
Heh,. I bought our Mustang from out of state and had it delivered. I tried to get the dealer to just run the car on my debit card and they refused. They made me use Ford Motor Credit or said they would wait for a check from my credit union. Paid the loan the first day I could (kept calling...
Ol' Dave gives good advice that a lot of folks would never hear otherwise. Listened to him for a bit and it did change my perspective for the better. That said, ya , don't listen anymore.
I drive 120 miles roundtrip to SeaWorld a couple of time a month. Usually have high 30s percentages when I get home and plug in. Full again in the morning. The local low speed driving uses very little power, it is highway that eats the juice on a BEV.
BEV, just waiting for them batteries... I just put $90 of fuel in my work van this morning. My electric bill last month was $96 total and I put many more miles on my Mustang.
There is a bit of disconnect on the charge rate thing. I have used pay DC charging twice in 9400 miles since February, both times on free weekends at Electrify America. (btw this weekend AE is free for the holiday). Car is always 90% charged in the morning, why wast time waiting at a DC...
Just a couple years ago we replace the SBC in or 62 C20 along with fuel tank and installed real brakes. With less than 2k on the mill the crate idea causes a bit of buyers remorse. That is until we looked into getting a battery pack for the conversion. Yup, conversion is not quite here yet...
Grifting at its best. It is a true credit/rebate now so you get it even if you do not pay taxes and there is no Units produced limit. However, since the UAW hates Tesla the cars need to be Union made to get the full credit.
Well just realized that with the new ultra grifter bill an XL AWD f150 Lightning will come in less that a fully loaded Lariat Maverick after the $12k tax credit.
My MachE has the shark fin. I think it has the WIFI/cell and gps antennas build in as it does not get dew on it overnight like the rest of the car. Some have tried a similar roof rack on there Mustangs and the blade still interferes. Something to said for a whip on the passenger fender.
I...
