Ok. Mine is activated but doesn't seem to assist. Maybe the road markings weren't that clear at the time so I'll experiment to get familiar with it. Thanks.
I think you'll find that among the general population, most people don't even notice things like that and couldn't care less. Folks have their own problems, concerns and issues they're dealing with and barely even notice folks around them, much less anything about the vehicle they're driving.
+1 for the Turtle wash/wax, my mainstay too. I only hand wax with the Maguiar's cleaner wax once every year or two, if that often.
I used to wash my vehicles after every rain, whenever they got a little dust on them, waxed them often, etc. Then I learned to buy neutral colors that don't show...
Yeah, not a fan of tiny engines that basically have to flog the piss out of themselves to keep up. Sure, they can be made to do it but that's gotta take a toll.
Got the update overnight with the same message others got this morning. Miles to Empty was unusually low but that will likely recalibrate after a tank or two. Didn't drive much yet but didn't notice much change over the few miles I did, IOW - still running great. Still hear a slight chatter...
Like it or not, once the new fascia comes out the old one becomes dated. Another year or two folks will see pre-25 front ends as retro and say something like, "How quaint, my grandfather had one of those". 😉
Didn't drive the truck yesterday but a similar message popped up on my screen this morning for an update at 1 am tomorrow. Still getting a chatter when going from slight deceleration or coast to slight acceleration so maybe it will address that. If not, I'm expecting a call from the local dealer...
Maybe I'm the odd man out but I've got ACC on my Corolla Cross hybrid and I'm not a fan. When I come up on someone going slower than me I prefer to release CC manually and just be more engaged driving until I can get around them if/when possible. I can see the advantage of ACC when in a big...
That's good to hear. Despite what the agent said, if it hadn't been recovered I wonder how that would have gone. Other stories I've heard have not had such a good outcome.
You get different answers asking that question, with some insurers not covering it, others say they will. I wouldn't count on it. Even if they do cover it they're probably going to drop you, if not your rates will go way, way up. You lose no matter what.
I've helped friends move stuff all the time with the trucks and vans I've had over the years, but I don't let them borrow the vehicle without me as the driver.
Once let a co-worker borrow my car to go get some lunch. He decided to go pick up his girlfriend, went out joyriding (it was a 1967 VW convertible bug) and came back with the passenger side door caved in. It happened in a parking lot which is considered private property so not subject to the...
Like the Pinto, the Maverick was considered by many (most?) to be kind of a piece of crap in the 70's so wouldn't that car still be one today? $22K, wow. I have friend who bought one back then because it was cheap. He knew it was made as cheaply as was humanly possible at the time but it got him...
No way I want one and this feature isn't overly useful, but it's interesting that you can stand outside (possibly even sit inside) and drive it around with a remote.
It would be registered with a plate on it, right? Wonder if there are areas where you could drive down to the local Gas-n-Sip for...
