Congrats! Nice looking Mav. I had to wait over a little over a year when I ordered mine Jan of 22. Glad to see they have it down to slightly over 3 moths now
I have the Rough Country tri fold soft cover. Got it about a year ago. It has held up great. I really like the look of the hard cover that you installed. I might have to upgrade!? I'm also in Macomb, might see you around. When I took delivery of my Mav in Jan of 23 I could drive daily for...
Ordered my Eco XLT Mav Jan of 22. Took delivery almost one year from the day that I ordered it (Jan of 23). Just turned 15,000 miles and did oil change and recall today. It's my daily driver at around 50 miles round trip to work and back 5 days a week (around 12 to 13k a year).
Yep, many cars have been collecting metadata for years. Same as your phone. Same as when you purchase anything on line. Same as when you check out on a self check out station at any store. Same as the multitude of cameras that you appear on in public areas. There really is no such thing as...
I had mine done at Line-X last year. They took care of all of that. They did an excellent job. The spray in bedliner itself has held up very well. Don't overthink it, that is what you are paying them for. If anything talk with the installer when you drop it off and let them know your...
Yes, the passenger seat can be empty and seatbelt not buckled. The seatbelt screen should disappear as soon as you buckle yours (and all the belts in the back are buckled).
A small "work around" on the seatbelt thing is to buckle all the backseat seatbelts. When you buckle your belt the screen will go away without pressing OK.
I'm 50 and wasn't the biggest fan of the orange trim pieces when I took delivery of my Mav in Jan of 23. Over time I've grown to like the orange. Most people who have seen the interior have liked the orange inserts. I don't mind it and definitely don't think about it anymore (unless I see a...
Great Looking Maverick! I grew up in Olathe and now live in Michigan. I believe your the first I've seen from Olathe on this forum. Have fun with the upgrades!
I hear the same sound. I have had my Maverick for over a year now and believe you are correct (radiator shudders). Hear it every morning when I get in to go to work. Totally normal as far as I know.
Daughter has 2022 Bronco Sport Big Bend. I drove it for approximately 6 months before I took delivery of my Maverick. The 3cyl 1.5 has been OK so far. I belong to the Bronco Sport forum and main issue people are having with the 1.5 is premature water pump failure. It is funny what the recall...
Just a small list I feel I see all the time......
1. How can I get the seatbelt screen to go away without pressing "OK"
2. How do I disable the engine auto stop "feature"
2. How do I get the truck to start in the last driving mode selected......sport, eco, normal...etc
I have had my tri fold soft cover from Rough Country for almost a year now. Easy to install. Very little leakage and material still looks new. Very little flapping even at highway speeds...
I agree with being prepared. This will be the first vehicle I have to put into a maintenance mode to change the brakes. I figure when the time comes I will google it or find a video on YouTube or look back here!
Are your brake pads low?? Just curious. I have about the same mileage and haven't even thought about changing brakes. Its been my experience to get at lest 30k out of factory pads before replacing.
I have had a tri fold soft top from Rough Country since last April. It has been a great cover. I'd say keeps the bed about 90% dry. Sometimes there are trickles of water running down the front of the bed if I drive in heavy rain. Other than that, the bed stays dry no matter the weather.
