Just curious, do you use the auto hold feature as well as the auto start/stop for the engine?? I believe auto hold uses the parking brake to hold the car until you let up off the brake and press the gas. Makes more sense to me to get that error if the auto hold was engaged and had an error...
When I took delivery my Maverick had 5 miles. That was after my test drive around the block and dealership going down the street to fill up the gas tank.
Back in early 2023 I had a couple of guys ask me about my Maverick. I would go weeks without seeing another one. Now they are way more common and I feel less exclusive....lol.
I never use it, however my daughter uses it in her 22 Bronco Sport and my son uses it in his 24 Escape. They try to get me to change, but I'm over 50 and stuck in my ways...lol! I did however get both of my kids acclimated to disabling the auto start/stop.
Ordered my truck in Jan of 2022. Got rolled over to a 2023 and took delivery Jan of 2023. Base XLT with 26,000 miles. Paid around 26K after A plan. Have had all recalls done and no problems what so ever. I have no plans "upgrading" to a 2025. I like my analog gages and HVAC buttons! I do...
SIBL from Line-X has served me very well! Had it installed in April of 23. I have had all sorts of different things in the bed of the truck and held up perfectly. I do also have a soft tri fold cover from Rough Country, so I didn't select the "premium" product because I'm not afraid of fading...
Found both of these at my local Target. I found the Hot Wheels Mav last Summer and the Matchbox Mav just yesterday. Was under $5 for both. I really enjoyed seeing the customization jobs that some posters had done!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Everyone! Just hoping to get to the carwash and clean the coating of road salt from my Mav, darn Michigan winters...lol!
Can't go wrong with SprayWay! I use SprayWay with blue shop paper towels that don't leave any lent residue. Works perfectly! If doing the inside of the windshield on a cold day, turn the defroster on and get the glass fairly warm before cleaning. Keep defroster on while cleaning. Should dry...
We just leased a 24 Escape ST-Line for my son. It has the same "Gage Cluster" screen and large 13" center screen found in some of the trim levels of the 25 Maverick. The gage cluster screen is OK, but the resolution is not the greatest. The configuration options are limited compared to other...
I was on Ford Parts web site https://parts.ford.com/ and entered the VIN of my Maverick. Next screen (on the left hand side) had the exact day my truck was made. Just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone was curious when their Maverick (or any other Ford) was born and didn't want to...
I believe the HVAC sensor also senses humidity. The AC will start when it senses higher humidity in an effort to keep the interior windows from fogging. I notice this happening more often in the summer on humid mornings. I'll be driving with the windows down and not running AC. Cold air will...
Got mine at the local Target a couple months ago. They had at least 10, so I took 2. I can't remember how much it was, but want to say around $2. One to keep in the package and one to take out and put with other die cast models I have.
I just ordered and installed these from Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0843D1QCG?ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_asin_title&th=1
They come with the adapter to attach to the wiper arm. I installed included adapter onto wiper blade then installed onto wiper arm. Entire process took 10 minutes. I was able...
Never heard that about the AC Compressor, but makes sense! I always thought that the defroster used the AC Compressor because the air produced by the AC Compressor is drier and defrosts/defogs the windows much more efficiently!?
Had to post this here! Took this pic after a recent fill up. The distance to empty was crazy high! The MPG over the last 9K was showing as 29.5. The MPG on the "real time" mpg screen was showing as 32mpg. This fill up was just after a recent road trip of all highway driving in echo mode.
I have a 23 base XLT. I notice that cold air randomly comes out the vents on humid summer mornings when NOT running the AC. I'll be driving and all the sudden it will feel like the AC is on. The LED by the AC button is not lit. I can not find any info on this in the owners manual. I came to...
We have a 2019 Flex SEL AWD. It has the 20" wheels and silver/black paint. Got it new in 2019 on closeout due to Ford not making them anymore. We are going to keep it until the wheels fall off. Just turned 60K. Just recently replaced all brake pads/rotors. Going to flush/fill transmission...
Possibly a glitch with the battery?? Try disconnecting and reconnecting? Maybe the battery has gone defective and low voltage. This may of caused the brake fault error. Just a thought.......
