  1. Dealer charged 27,960 FordPass points for oil change and rotation

Hi Jeff, Yes, I knew that the dealership used Motorcraft Blended Synthetic Oil. That is what is recommended in the owners manual. I have used Motorcraft oil in all my Ford vehicles for decades. I've never had an oil related engine problem...ever. I keep vehicles way past 100,000 miles. The...
  2. Dealer charged 27,960 FordPass points for oil change and rotation

My local dealer ship deducted 15,492 points for "The Works" oil change and 12,478 for just an oil change.
  3. New stereo firmware update available!

I know what your saying and agree, however FM radio quality is not an issue in any other vehicle I drive or ride in. I live in metro Detroit so transmission towers fairly close in proximity. Daughter has 22 Bronco Sport and FM radio sounds great (it is a higher version of Sync). Wife has 2019...
  4. New stereo firmware update available!

Just updated....thanks for the post. Keeping my fingers crossed that it helps some FM stations retain audio quality when driving.

  6. Door ding protectors

I think about door dings also and just try to park out a little further. On windy days I'll park into the wind (if possible) so the wind doesn't take the door out of a careless persons grip that parks next to me. I usually park around the same coworkers everyday and don't worry too much at...
  7. Seatbelt warning screen...any way to remove?????????

I keep the backseat seatbelts buckled and all I have to do is fasten my seatbelt and screen goes away on its own instantly. The front passenger seatbelt does not have to be buckled for this to work. Saves the step of hitting OK or letting the screen go off after a certain amount of time.
  8. First Ding, Scratch, Mark Club

Backed into the handle on my garbage bin. Barley rolling when I tapped it 🤦‍♂️. Looking down the street to make sure cars were not coming and forgot it was garbage day. There is a PDR shop close to my house and have not decided if I'm going to get repaired or just consider the truck having...
  9. Does 2023 Maverick XLT have a arm rest in back

Yes, mine does anyany  . Doubles as a cup holder once it is pulled down.
  10. Tonnopro hard flip tonneau installed

My cover is exactly the same, however I purchased from Rough Country so the name is different. I've had mine on my Mav since last April. What worked best for me was lining up the cover with the line in the plastic cap on the tailgate. Make sure there is a gap between the rear window and...
  11. Soft Tri-fold tonneau cover review

Everything looks exactly the same as the cover I got from Rough Country. I installed mine last April and have been very happy with how dry the bed stays. I still notice quite a bit of "flapping" at highway speeds, however overall great cover!

  13. My First Mod: Premium Line-X Bedliner

I got my standard Line-X for around $550 in SE Michigan. I have a tonneau cover and wasn't interested in UV protection again fading in the premium. They did an excellent job. Has held up very good so far and couldn't be happier. Can't beat the lifetime warranty.
  14. Picked up my Maverick XLT (from Michigan)

Hi Lori. Congrats on your Mav! What part of Michigan are you from? I live in Macomb and have recently started to see more and more Mavericks on the road in my area. I'm no longer the only one in my Sub with a Maverick. Someone a block over just got a silver XLT Lariat  !
  15. Line-x bedliner. Did they make a mistake?

Had Line-X do my Mav last April. They took out everything that could be removed from the bed of the truck. Did an excellent job reinstalling everything. Drainage holes not covered in front of bed on floor after SIBL applied. Couldn't be happier. I'd go back and bring to their attention the...
  16. How long do you plan to keep your Maverick?

Traded in my 2011 Edge with 236,000 miles. Usually keep vehicles until they die. Hoping to get at least get 10+ years or 200,000+miles out of the MAV. I'm 49 and driving a lot less now a days now that the kids are grown and have their own vehicles. If there are no major mechanical issues I...
  17. Reasons You Purchased EcoBoost Instead of Hybrid

2.0EB and this transmission not entirely new to Ford. I'm a little hesitant on buying the very first year of a new hybrid drivetrain. I'm getting around 28mpg in mixed driving and that is fine for me.
  18. Where are we from?

Hi. I ordered my Carbonized Gray XLT 2.0EB in Jan of 22 and took delivery in Jan of 23 (almost a year to the day of ordering). I live in Macomb Michigan.
  19. Why do so many gear heads HATE the maverick....?

I'm in SE Michigan and have had my Mav since Jan of this year. I have experienced no hate what so ever while driving my truck. I drive it everyday and get very little attention and that's fine with me. I do find other drivers taking a look at stop lights, but for the most no additional...
  20. DIBL or SIBL

I got my SIBL from LINE-X and couldn't be happier. They did an excellent job by removing all hardware in bed before spraying. They sprayed the area between bottom edge of bed and tailgate. The drainage holes in front of bed were still there and not covered. Have had a variety of things in...
