Mine says in production 10-28-21. Estimated date of delivery 1-3-22
ford (detroit) says it has been built for awhile and should show up between Christmas and New Years The page hasn't been up for days. Ford dealer said by 12-9-21. They don’t know shit. I think they were...
The leaf is all electric so you are comparing apples and oranges. Let say you want to backup for 20 miles. The electric motor runs backwards to reverse the vehicle. If you got close to running out of juice put it in park and let the gas engine charge the battery up And proceeded backing up.
I grew up in Southern Indiana (Orleans) but live in Los Angeles now. When I retire I will be there about half of the time of the year. Once a Hoosier always a Hoosier. Velocity Blue, XLT, hybrid, moonroof, tow, inverter, and rear slider. I should get great mileage in hilly southern Indiana. I...
The performance numbers are close.
The mileage numbers are not even close.
And eco boost cost $1,000 more.
So the only negative to the hybrid is a loss of a little space under the back seat.
I have said all along the Mavericks sweet spot is 42 mpg city and $19,995 msrp. I’m glad I...
Don't forget the Vega and Corvair were both MT car of the year. The Mustang II was a car for its time, gas prices had just went sky high and the 71-73 mustangs had turned into a Torino sized car. The mustang IIs have jumped in price and a lot of hot rods of all makes have their front suspension...
The ice has broken here comes the flood of hybrids. Thx for sharing, we should do a SoCal Maverick meet in Bigbear in the spring. I live in Santa Clarita, my estimated delivery got pushed to 1-3-22. So I may get it between Christmas and New Years.
How about a AWD, fast, inexpensive, hybrid/plugin/all electric and good looking Maverick car. This will not happen because it will hurt Mustang sales just like it did in the early seventies. Ford has to raise the Maverick price by $1,000 because the V8 grabber was selling so well.
Ford should make a Dave Ramsey edition Maverick DR As follows.
XL Hybrid with not a single option Except a built in safe because you have to use cash for everything no credit cards. $21,880
* save money on gas, I will be saving at least $350 a month.
* save money on repairs average $150 a...
the problem with that one is if you use one of the opposing balls the other ball is hanging down and the Maverick is so low it will drag on drive ways etc...
Been to harbor freight Home Depot. Lowe’s. U Haul. I need a interchangeable ball because I have 2 inch and 1 7/8 balls on several different trailers. I’ll find it somewhere on line I’m sure.
That’s a cool little trailer. Your ball mount is a little high, I have been looking around for a flat one but have not found one yet. The only ones I see have several balls mounted permanently on them. If anyone finds one let us all know because I think we will need it.
The Maverick was made for that guy in the article. He is looking at a Prius? He obviously has never heard of the Maverick. It amazes me that Ford has done no advertising and is selling out, well at least the hybrid.
When production gets ramped up there is no stopping this hauling miser.
A lot of good ideas on this build. Does anyone know how the lowering and airbags effect the payload and towing rates. If you air the bags up as high as possible how many inches will it raise and can you tow anything close to stock.
