While I don't disagree with this, when I checked one of my Mavericks, it only had 7 to 7-1/2 turns of engagement, so with a 1.5mm pitch, only about 75% of stud diameter (14mm).

So let's call this what it really is, buyers remorse. You found that you didn't need a Maverick for it's truck-like capabilities, so you feel that a Corolla Cross will better fit your lifestyle.

Here are the pockets discussed above. Measure the length of the studs, and if longer than the thickness of the spacer, the extra length would go into these pockets, if deep enough.
Also, when looking at spacers that use a 2nd set of studs, make sure they use the same size stud, which is 14mm x...
For years I visited a customer in Upstate NY, Star Safety Systems, looks like they offer multiple length options for rooftop light bars. Walking thru their test lab was not for the faint of heart...
