If you're getting a 2023 the XL should now come with factory cruise control as standard.
Power tailgate lock and short wire harness is an easy add on and much appreciated feature.
Co-Pilot360 (if you ordered) will give you power mirrors.

I can understand your problem. I was trying way too hard, thought I had to push a screwdriver up to push back some sort of clip. What there is is a sliding bar on a spring, so you don't have to push up against anything, just a small, short screwdriver then pry slightly toward one way (sorry I...
Remember, you asked:
All in all, the Model 3’s physical features function better than most competing EVs. Its the digital ones that get it in deeper water.Despite the high praise the company gets for its software updates, they actually make things worse sometimes. Josh says recent updates made...
So you blast Ford quality while buying one. What is so bad about Ford quality?
Let me get this right. You blast a $20k vehicle that you don't have for quality. You bought a 2022 Honda that you've sold already. You bought a Bronco ($40k-$60k or more) that is a Ford after saying Ford quality...
If you feel FORD quality is so bad why did you buy one? You bought the cheapest model (XL) and you are complaining? Don't like Ford, sell your XL. A quick check of you 2022 Honda CR-V is as follows;
2022 Honda CR-V User Complaints and Problems
Since 2017 itself, the CR-V lineup has found...
My Forscan version is V2.3.47. Did you go into all the different modules and change all settings, including in the ABS module? Also, make sure you didn't select Adaptive Cruise Control. You can contact Forscan and verify that the new version should work. I have the option to update to the...
It can be a little concerning if one isn't slightly mechanically inclined or slightly tech savy. Check the different threads to see how to remove the air bag (I was pushing way way too hard on the bars that holds the air bag on, only need very little to move them to release the air bag from...
Thanks, I also have the "cubby" on the drivers side, it wilI not keep debris from being thrown up onto the back side of the drivers side tail light. I installed the shield I made back in April and it's doing what I fabricated it to do.
I disconnected the negative cable on the battery under the rear seat when doing the Cruise Control Switches (removed the air bag assembly). No need to disconnect the battery if doing the tail gate power lock install.
yes, those are the exact parts I used for the Power Tail Gate Lock. Dealer parts department should be able to look up for a Lariat or XLT but just order the ones I have listed.
Glad to help, I'm sure you're as happy being successful as I was. You know Ford has included Cruise Control as standard on 2023 models. Guess they listened to us all and corrected their mistake. I recommend you replace the manual Tail Gate lock with a power lock. Get the wire harness for a...
I would say if you can just change (enable) through Forscan I'd say that's the way to go. One can easily go back to the original settings if need be. If you change setting using the "as built" data you need to write down the original "as built" data just in case. FYI: I have a 22 XL Hybrid...
it's quite a bit more to add ACC. Wiring and additional parts are needed for the sensors to see vehicle ahead. There are other threads about adding ACC. I think it was some where around $900 just in parts.
Don't know for sure but it looks like you'd have no control of phone then. I know what works if you do replace both, don't know what does work and what doesn't if you only replace one and only program for one. My suggestion is to replace both, you're already in there.
