Interesting. I was just looking on my 2025 XLT and it doesn’t have such an access panel in the Console. I don’t see anything around the transmission shift knob either like some cars have. Does anybody know where the transmission release is for a 2025 XLT.?

My understanding is that it will be an over-the-air software update. apparently, they haven’t pushed it out over the air yet. My over the air updates are turned on, but haven’t seen anything yet.

I saw a couple of those and thought about them, but I also saw a YouTube video somewhere where they said that those cancel your battery saver sensor. And it also appeared that they constantly draw power, which is a bad idea. Maybe someone here has differing information.?

That’s definitely not a 2025 XLT. I wish it were that easy. There is no nut and bolt. I could barely feel the screw head, probably a torx, but there was no way to get any kind of tool in the space. Considered cutting the shield off, but stopped short. I’ll just have to keep trying to...
