Ah,thereās been a couple of others that say the alarm can arm from just the keypad. I donāt have a keypad unfortunately, so I couldnāt test that. Thanks for the info. You have a better system than I do. :)
Interesting how did you arm the alarm. I thought that could only be done from the key fob or did you arm it with the fob and then toss the fob in the car? Or were you able to arm it with a keypad on the outside of the car?
Sure, then anyone can jump in your truck and drive off with it. Also I donāt believe either your security system or your alarm system, if you have one, will function. (At least according to Ford)
General Motors is now recommending a switch from 0W-20 to 0W-40 motor oil for vehicles equipped with the 6.2L V8 L87 engine due to potential internal engine defects. This change is part of a safety recall affecting nearly 600,000 vehicles to improve engine protection and performance
I think that may be backwards unless something changed since the last time I looked at vortex radars test. I believe he said itās the magnesium case on the V1 that works against the radar detector detectors most of the other detectors use a plastic case. š¤
They also use radar detector detectors. And I believe the only radar detector that cannot be trulydetected by a radar detector Detector is the Valentine V1.

Like you, I was shifting into neutral, whatever stopped, but after doing some research on the web, the consensus seems to be that thatās a bad practice for several reasons. One of which is apparently the shifting back-and-forth from neutral to drive causes additional wear on the transmission and...
Well, I tried moving the temperature up to 80 and there was at least a five second delay before the AC light came on, so then I moved the temperature slider all the way to high shut it off and restarted and the AC light seem to stay off, so Iāll try that for my next few cycles and see if itās...
OK, I tried turning the fan all the way off and stopped the engine. However, when I started the engine, the AC was on again so that didnāt work. Iāll have to look and see if thereās anyway you can actually turn the temperature off. Iām thinking you can only turn it up and down.
