Yes, if I still perceive there’s a problem my thoughts were to get my cut off wheel and just cut them all off but that rubber hose idea to cover any sharp edges is great. Much appreciated.
Well, initially, I thought so - it was pretty tight so I drove it a couple days and then got underneath and looked and those puncture teeth were sitting inside of the tread which I didn’t like so I ended up doing like some others and bent the teeth down so they weren’t sticking straight out. I...
Yep! The first thing I did was got rid of it - went to Discount Tire and bought a steel wheel with the same size tire as my other four to use as a spare instead. :)
Looks like they didn’t fix the problem since the same episode with the 2020 escapes. Mine was recalled but the turds only replaced and reinforced the front doors hinges. I guess they figured the back doors didn’t get used as much so they could get away with doing only the fronts and hopefully...
These things do not have the capability to actually sample the oil for contaminants, additive breakdown, or oxidation. Not sure why they call it intelligent. Lol
Yes, I was talking about the alarm system which according to Ford is not supposed to activate if the fob is inside the car. Apparently some folks move the fobs far enough back in the car so that they’re out of range of the ignition and that’s how I think they’re able to do it - either that or...
Maybe ecoboost and hybrid work differently? Maybe keypad vs door lock work differently? Try leaving window open with fob sitting on center console. Then lock via door button. Wait a minute then reach through window and unlock/open door. Does alarm sound? Try same procedure using keypad...
Interesting. It appears you are half right anyway. on my 25 XLT you can lock it with the door button and The alarm is active but only if the key fob is outside of the car, if the key fob is in the car and you lock it with the door button. The alarm is not activated. Apparently the system is...
The car remembers where the Fob is before it sleeps even IF it even sleeps in the car.
you might want to do a test. From what I understand the alarm system only activates via the Fob, not via ford pass, keypads, nor manual locking.
