There's nothing more comfortable and smooth, than a Ram on the highway. My previous truck was am '18 CC Hemi. It was so nice on long highway trips. In the city however, it was overkill for me.
I didn't realize it was that big of deal. I thought maybe 5 Mavericks from the area would show up. Thus, thinking the 5 hr round drip sounded like a long way. :)
From what I've read (I don't have BO), you may need to add a dummy resistor if you bypass (unplug) any of the factory speakers. Unsure if this applies to the sub also?
Funny, my previous '21 Edge 2.0 EB was governed at 122. It had a higher center of gravity, and shorter wheelbase (which would make it less stable at high speeds). All my Hemi Rams were governed at 106. My jeep is 118.
I guess I'm the minority here, but I'm not liking that sound much. It's too raspy (ricey) for my taste. I prefer a deeper tone -- which I know is difficult to do on a 4-banger. Price is out of this world too. Add this exhaust and downpipe + 2 Boomba catch cans, and you have yourself another...
I had a '21 Edge prior to my Maverick. It had the 12" Sync 4A screen -- which I loved. However, I wish it was 10", because I'd much prefer the climate controls to be physical buttons.
I know this is a very old thread, and there's a lot of useful information. Since it's a "sticky", I thought it should be known that OP appears to have the front speaker wires swapped +/- -- according to this diagram:
I've had (3) 2.0 Ecoboosts. I mainly ran 87 on all of them. If gas gets cheap enough, I may run 91 once in awhile (that's the highest we get around here). Premium is 50+ cents higher/gal around me. I always run Top Tier gas. Never had an issue with 87.

I think I'd rather pay a bit more from DT or TR.
All soft covers flap on the highway. I've had 3 Truxedo LoPros on Rams and Sport Tracs. They all flapped also. I'm very happy with my Ford (Truxedo) soft roll-up cover. Purchased for about $200 with points. Pull the velcro as tight as you can on each side. It will loosen with warm weather...
Save your $ on paint, and put it towards a set of alloy wheels. Bronco Sport sets can often be had for fairly cheap. It would look a lot better than painted steelies.
I ordered mine with both sets. The carpet set does not include the rears. I ordered a set of Lloyd mats for the rears. They are very nice. I prefer to run carpet during the summer, and the all-weather mats during the winter.
