I used a solid-fold Mostplus tonneau 363 days/year. It's easy on/easy off in 3m. Any soft or hard tri-fold would work great if you want to switch back and forth. I had a soft one prior, and it was too floppy on the highway (Gator)
Same as above. I used it 2x/year -- to haul my daughter back and forth to college (400+ mi round-trip). It's saved us from the rain twice. Easy on/easy off with 1 person. It stores in basement when not in use. It takes up as much room as a large suitcase when deflated.
That's unfortunate about the Worksport. I seriously was considering that one due to low-profile. I have the SportPlus hard Fold (Chinese). I've had it since Dec (3rd tonneau - long story). It does a good job keeping water out during the rain. Water will get in towards the bulkhead when...
It rained hard when I moved my daughter to college, and when I moved her home. All contents inside the Flated topper were dry. I wouldn't want to use it 100% of the time, but it comes in handy when I need it.
If you want something less permanent, easy to remove/install, and easily stores in your basement, check out the Flated topper. I use it 2x/year, and then switch back to a hard fold tonneau.
It's sure a good thing my Maverick is always in the garage then. I'd be real worried otherwise. Also, did you not see that I have the topper on about 4 days/year. Even so, I've driven at least 10 years with several trucks that had soft tonneaus. I've never had anyone slice one of them...
It's very sturdy. You can stand on top of it. Check out youtube reviews.
Yes, someone could easily slice through the back window (or side ones if applicable). If someone wants in that bad, they will get in no matter what you have. I only use it when hauling my daughter's DORM items (420...
I have the low one, and love it. I use it to haul my daughter back and forth to college. I kind of wish I paid a bit more for the taller one, but I like the looks of the small one better.
I have one, and love it. I can attest that it's very rigid. Once strapped down, it isn't wiggling or going anywhere. I push on the side (top) with all my weight, and it wiggled the whole truck (not topper).
I'll have to double check it. My stock exhaust is long gone. It's steel, and wouldn't last long anyway. IDK? It's been a long time since I've had a muffler on a 4-banger. Maybe I'm just used to V8s (Hemis)? There's way too much brrrrrrrr under any acceleration. If I'm alone, I don't mind...
I have the one with muffler. I have no leaks. I actually had to pay another $80 to have mine welded. I also have lots of sound deadening and a subwoofer under the back passenger seat. The muffler and exit is too close to the cabin, so the noise resonates at even the mildest acceleration...
No drone? It's loud AF inside. I've had it almost a year, and can't stand it. It's great outside, but interior noise is unbearable -- especially if you're in the back seat. I'll be getting rid of mine as soon as I can afford to. And no, this isn't my first performance exhaust. I've had...
....and, it's a different model than the OE tires. As stated, most all OE tires suck -- with a few exceptions. Most mainstream tire brands make some good tires, and mediocre (bad) ones. Those CrossContact ATRs look like a good choice.
