Since the OP stated many times that the app said the airbag deployed and the truck didn’t deploy the airbag. It sounds like the sensor told the airbag to deploy (hence the app saying it deployed) and for whatever reason, the airbag didn’t deploy. If those are the facts, then that is very bad...

My friend in high school had a powder blue Maverick with an inline 6 and 3 on the tree.

Points and a timing light. I carried a finger nail file in the glove box to file the points in my GTO as they tended build up a bunch of carbon.
