Took me about 30 minutes to install the actuator and wiring on the XL I had. Hardest thing was getting to the connection that is basically under the spare tire.

This is where I mounted my front plate bracket. Held on with a heavy duty zip tie. I no longer own this truck, but I mounted it the same way on my 2023. Zero issues even on the hottest California days.

One problem you may have is buying a new vehicle and trying to bring it into California. You will at minimum have to pay CA sales taxes. DMV might not allow it because it doesn’t have 7,501 miles on it too. We have some strange rules here. Good luck 🍀

Not buyer’s remorse. My little truck has way too many things wrong with it for being as nee as it is. I don’t think it will last ten years without spending much time in the shop.

Warranty covers almost everything including lights and keys. Also included a rental so I am not out of a ride when the truck is in the shop.
