Received my "No Maverick for You" email today :cry:. This sounds like a Maverick death sentence. Ordered 9/20. XLT, Hybrid, HPR, Hitch Receiver, 120 V outlet, CP360, BAP . . . Priority 10. Happy I have a back up XL in the garage.

FACT on no rails. Just clamps that utilize the bed edge to hold it on.

As can be seen by the pictures, the back corners hang out the back corners quite a bit. I'm not sure that I have a front of the bed (back window) completely sealed as the clips to hold the cover when folded are in the way and prevent the front seal from completely making contact with the rail...

Well - I've been f'd. It seems my wonderful dealer didn't "save" my order and used my order number for the next customer. NO MAVERICK FOR ME! They said they'd "make it right", I'll only believe that if it happens!

Back in the 1970's and 1980's, many cars that were "uni-body" construction were repaired that had more damage than your Maverick. Try going to a body shop that has been around for a few decades - I bet they can fix it.
