Thanks for adding that. Agree.
I know that legislators (not making a political statement here) are/have considered changing the EV tax credit to only be applicable to manufacturers that use unionized labor. https://www.autoweek.com/news/green-cars/a37575537/ev-credit-union-made-cars/

Ford's market cap is $71.6B as of this afternoon
Rivian is targeting a valuation as high as $53B for their upcoming IPO https://www.ft.com/content/e123d71e-8644-410c-9b4e-69a25914d867
$71.6 > $53B
Ford is rumored to have a 14.4% stake in Rivian via their $1.2B in investment over time. That alone is of value to Ford if they own 14.4% of a $61B company.
Rivian was going to build a Lincoln EV but that was cancelled, instead Ford will build their own. Ford will use Rivian for co-development...
15% off w/ code FORD15.
Worth price checking against dealer run sites (e.g. forddiscountparts.com or fairwayfordparts.net as they offer discounts >15% on some items).
these are the LEDs that fit WT21/7W spec on the F150. Believe they’re the same as Maverick.
I do not have my rig yet so cannot try. https://www.diodedynamics.com/rear-turn-tail-light-leds-for-2021-ford-f-150-four.html

This swap was just the reverse lights.
As far as I know there is no solution yet for the brake/turn signal bulbs. You would likely need a resistor to match the prior bulb wattage so they don’t hyperflash/show the bulb is out. Diode Dynamics was working on one @SgtLip might know more.

I think this has to do with the supply constraints and Ford managing the availability for other vehicles. They can only spread the constrained components so far across their truck line up
this is different. Ford brought the Maverick to SnugTop ahead of its launch. In fact Ford conducted testing with the top mounted.
The SEMA launch products got measurements when ford unveiled the Maverick. Not before
Shareholders will be happy if this results in positive long term customers and ultimately brand value. A $2k write off for a couple hundred trucks is a drop in the bucket.
Noise for all rear cross traffic alert makes sense. You’re probably not looking at your side mirrors and maybe looking at tire rear mirror or out the back. The rear view camera on Volvos shows a visual indicator as well
