ultimately a big safety issue.. say you are broken down on an interstate in bad weather... lasfit asks you to turn your hazards off for 2 mins to let them "cool"... you better have some flares on hand

If insurance tries to total it, get a lawyer / public adjuster. Make sure they pay you market value to replace it. if you were to walk onto a dealer lot (if you can even find a Mav) you will pay over sticker.
