Can I connect my G40 directly to the 12v battery and then plug the USB charging cable into the rear seat usb port? Will running the truck keep the G40 topped up and ready to boost the 12v battery when necessary or will it drain the 12v?

would the Napier bed tent still work if you had a plywood sub floor sitting on top of the wheel wheels? Other than extra material in the bed would there be any pitfalls to doing this? I would open up a lot of extra storage this way but at what expense?
