Haha I like that setup honestly, simple and it gets the job done. Thatās really what it comes down to, whatever fits your needs and how you actually use the truck.
I went a little overkill with mine just because I wanted everything hardwired and always ready to go, but setups like yours are...
I wanted to share the current interior/electrical side of my Maverick build. The exterior setup got its own post, but this part deserved a separate breakdown because it has taken a lot more planning than it probably looks like from the photos.
The goal was to build a cleaner auxiliary power...
I get the Jeep comparison š but this isnāt trying to be one.
Itās a hybrid daily thatās pulling overland duty, running full lighting, rack + tent setup, and still getting solid MPG.
Skid plates are coming too; Just doing it right instead of rushing parts.
Yeah, I just double checked and RIVAL seems to be the main option right now. The full setup adds up quick though; engine skid plate is $369, cat skid plate is $249, and the driver/passenger underside plates are $499 each, so all four come out to $1,616 before tax and shipping. Definitely...
I am part of the oh well mentally lol. Yea I am definitely looking into something. Right now rival is the only one. Hopefully someone else would come out with one!
I wanted to put together a clean breakdown of where my Maverick is currently at on the exterior. The pictures show the main labeled parts, but there are a few other pieces on the truck that are not labeled in the photos, so I wanted to include everything here.
Iāve been trying to keep the build...
Glad it helped! I felt the exact same way; like why am I dealing with this on a truck thatās barely a few years old. Once I swapped it out and the CEL stayed gone, it was a huge relief. Mineās been running fine since with no MPG change. Hopefully yours clears up for good too š¤
I went down the same rabbit hole a lot of people here are inālow voltage readings, battery saver kicking on early, constantly checking readings, and even considering trickle charging just to keep things stable. You can see in threads like this how common it is for people to rely on chargers or...
Wanted to share this in case it helps someone else out. Iāve been dealing with a P0402 (EGR Flow Excessive) on my 2022 Maverick Hybrid, and I think I finally tracked it down.
Part numbers (important)
I went down the rabbit hole on this and found that Ford has updated this sensor a few times...
Hey everyone,
Like I said in my last post (reverse light comparison here:
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/reverse-light-bulbs-comparison-stock-vs-lasfit-vs-f150leds-ares.80216/ ), I was going to keep going with the rest of the lighting on the truck.
I just finished putting in...
