Don't stress it! I have not seen a single complaint about fwd in snow. You obviously can't just make your own path off-road in the snow front wheel drive. But in a town slow speeds conscious of the snow you'll be perfectly fine.

I have driven in the snow with my front wheel drive hybrid. If you put it on slippery mode or if you can just control not slamming the pedal you will be fine!

Well my 2022 Maverick did not come with an AGM battery. Ford let me deal with their problem on my own LOL.

Yeah I totally feel that concern. As I faced the problem myself. I just finally committed and bought an ohmmu sodium battery. I have a whole thread on that if you're interested. But now my problem with the 12v battery is solved so I'm content.

This is somewhat how I feel. I was considering swapping my 2022 FWD HYBRID for a 2025-6 AWD HYBRID. But the full EV has me waiting.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you buy your 24 for and how much are you getting out of it? Are you selling it directly to them or are you going to sell it and then just use that money for the new one?

Yeah I hope a plug-in version comes out soon. My only concern is that I heard a plug-in system weighs a lot more than the current layout.

Honestly curious after a few years of ownership now… If you were buying a Maverick again tomorrow, would you still go Hybrid or would you switch to EcoBoost? The more I look at it, the more it feels like both drivetrains have their own tradeoffs and neither is the “perfect” answer anymore...
