I've been going back and forth on the Panda Module. A 15% increase is pretty decent, but their website DynoJet chart on the Maverick shows it's actually only a 7% HP gain and 10% Torque gain. I think a real selling point would be just to show 0-60 and 1/4 mile runs with and without it on the...
Finally got around to trying to install the Airlift bags in in the coils again today. One piece of advice - DO NOT FOLLOW AIRLIFT INSTRUCTIONS! Do NOT squeeze the air out of the bag before installation, SO much easier to install. Just remove the cap to relieve the pressure. When you squeeze...
Hey Caleb.... In the video you say Sport mode is an increase over factory. Roughly what percentage would that be? Do you have Dyno results for Sport? Just curious.
Thanks!
Still hoping more Mav owners would post their opinions after installation. Leaning toward getting one.
Please let me know how the Airlift bags installed. I just spent 2 hours trying to get one in and gave up, took 30 minutes to get out. 4th vehicle with air lift bags, but these new ones are so much more stiff I gave up trying to get them in. Not sending them back just yet, but I'm close...
I'm waiting to hear a few more opinions on the Panda Power Module from the group here....... going to hold out till then. But liking the idea.
Update: Bummer, just saw the specs on the EB 8-speed box - only rated up to 257 lbs of torque. Panda Power would increase EB up to 318 lbs of...
Thank you for your post! So now that you've had it installed for a bit, I'm interested in a detailed review of the mirror. What do you like and dislike, etc. I've been looking at them for a while, and have a couple questions, like the size (blocking more of the windshield), and how well does...
Cheap fix for annoying chime($10 for 2) I drive on personal and commercial property, in and out of the truck and obviously no need for seat belt at that speed. Nice not to hear that anymore. Just remember to put in on when you're on the street again.
It looks like Hyundai did update the 2023 manual and it does have the word "bed" in the warning. (Page 6-67) Pretty much clarifies it. So if you ever want to haul anything heavy in your bed, Santa Cruz probably isn't a good choice. Payload capacity is 1411, but I don't think putting cement...
Amazon has the pigtails (although they are called a speaker harness - same thing). I only got one too of course. They come in a 2 pack on Amazon, I installed mine a few weeks ago.

Just finished installing Noico under hood. Looked at Dynamat, also a good product. Noico 80ml was about $25 on Amazon. I measured the sound level before and after. Pretty impressive for the price.
From Lasfit today (hyper flashing):
"Since these bulbs built-in Intelligent Temperature Control, if you use for a long time (a few vehicles maybe 2-5 minutes, it depends on year/make/model and temperature) may happen hyper flash, please turn off and cool 1-2 minutes, they will work normally again."
I've tried doing what the manual states a few times. Unfortunately I can never get past step 2, seat belt warning light will never go off, so it can't be programmed. Maybe it's the smaller screen version that doesn't allow it.. ?? The manual doesn't say if it only works for certain versions.
I guess if one was worried about the length of warranty, they could buy the Ford ESP plan for around $1100-1200. That would cover bumper to bumper for 5yr/100k. Hyundai bumper to bumper is 5yr/60k. But, Hyundai powertrain is 10yr/100k.
Santa Cruz does have some advantages over the...
It's a constant on with the marker lights. Same circuit as the rest of the marker lights I imagine. The strip is a little longer than the hood, but you can just tuck the little extra in the fenders (barely an inch). Lots of room to do that.
I tried it both ways, but like this one much better. But this is an XLT grill, so the other models will not look quite the same. Just mask it down both ways..... and be very careful how you attach is to headlights. You don't want to squish it with either the hood, or the head seal.
And...
