Thank you. They didn't include DOT with the description. And thanks for the picture, nice to see a real pic instead of the photoshopped lights that most sellers are using. Your lens looks more clear than smoke, which I really like. Would you mind sending me the link?
Please post pics and opinions on the tail lights. I'm curious to hear your pros and cons.
Thanks!
Update.... I really like the tail lights, but I see they are not DOT approved. Not feeling like spending that money with the chance I'll have to remove them because they're not legal here.
I've been using the $12 retractable ones from Home Depot for years. Then you can attach them to any of the bed tie downs depending on your load.
BTW, you can get those tail lights on ebay right now. I'm interested to hear some reviews.
Just had mine done on Wednesday (mobile service). Took about 20 minutes. Still noticed small freezes on the screen with the camera, but not as bad as it was. I haven't checked the settings, but the screen is much brighter. Can't remember ever changing it myself though.
I have been avoiding the dealership so they wouldn't do the recall. But my rear caliper froze and warped rotor, etc., so I had to go in (warranty). So naturally I'm in the same boat with the dash hyper flash. Apparently I'm stuck going with resistors because Forscan is not available any...
Anyone have these in a hot climate? It's going to stay 115 here for a least a week, curious how hot these get. I have Skecher covers now which aren't bad in the heat, but I'm thinking about replacements.
My driver's side went dim after one week, but Mabett said they will replace it when they get them in stock again. It still works, just not as bright as the other side. Still pretty cool though, installed them a month ago.
Installed them last night. Don't follow instructions for hooking them up to headlights (I'll post pics the correct way). I'd connect them to the parking lights, but I'm maxed out on that line already with another light. A couple of pointers: mask off all pry areas even when using plastic trim...
