Im taking delivery next weekend and want to spray it with something to help protect it from road salt here in Ohio. Has anyone sprayed their trucks with fluidfilm (or another similar spray)? How many cans did you use? Where all did you spray?

Now that it’s getting colder up north, how the heater? More importantly, WHERE does the heat blow? I find a lot of vehicles direct the heat more towards my shins, vs my feet when I drive. Where does the maverick direct the air to?

My maverick has finally been delivered after sitting in rail yard inspection limbo for a few days. Unfortunately I changed my airline ticket to Dec 4th! Looks like it’s gonna have to sit at the dealer for a few days. And just to top things off, my furnace died today! So least things are exciting...

So, like everyone here with a Maverick that is in transit, I’m obsessively tracking it. Now that I am within my delivery window of 11/11-11/17, I have noticed my delivery date has changed on the ford tracker to simply “estimated delivery 11/21”, and all mentions of the original window is gone...

For those who have taken delivery, can you still see the 8” screen with polarized glasses on?

I stopped at my local dealer again to look at the maverick they have. This whole time I assumed the EB engine was coming out of the Cleveland Ohio plant. Looks like I was wrong. a few pics just because… (last I checked, they wanted $4k ADM. looks like it’s sold now.)

Has anyone on the east coast ordered a Maverick and taken delivery yet (not bought off the lot)? How long did it take for delivery after it was built?

For those buying out of state who are planning on flying in to take delivery, then driving back… how are you handling the plane ticket situation? Ie: knowing that you get a better price buying your ticket farther in advance, how are you deciding what date to buy your ticket for? I’m going to...

While watching a review video today, I see that the fx4 cluster will display the tire pressures. Does the smaller cluster display also show this, or does it only give you and idiot light?

I’m gonna guess it’s the same filter as the focus st but has anyone spent the time looking at parts diagrams to confirm?

Now that maverick production has started, has Ford added part numbers to the computers at the parts dept yet?

Anyone have any idea how to get a decent DAC in the maverick? I talked to audioquest about their Dragonfly, and was told that it isn’t possible wo an aux in analog input. Anyone know of an upgraded DAC that could be installed since all my audio will come off my iPhone via usb?
