12k and 10k is what my Scales low version came with.
But the standard spring and the Swift spring, even though they may be the same spring rate... the swift will ride a lil smoother and more like 1 rate softer than its listed as and will not sag even a bit over time. 9k on a standard spring...
There aren't. No one current makes adjustable camber arms...yet. i stress yet.
What are you saying Brian?
You have 2 sets of springs or you have 2 sets of coilovers? If you have the low version like I did... that is part of the issue. The standard should be more than enough. The low version...
Thanks! I have multiple sets. This set is my cruising set honestly. I'll share pics of my race set as soon as they arrive. They are 19" all around.
Just really love the look of a staggered look.
Keep in mind the tire diameter is the same on my staggered set... its the width and the crazy...
Honestly, 9k is great for the front but for the average person 7k in the rear would be ideal so for you 8k should be a better balance. Upgrade your rear swaybar, get a strut tower bar..and some chassis under brace bars from TeamZ Motorsports and you'll be set. 😉
I'm having a custom cut out jig made to cut out the top of the strut tower so that the cut is clean accurate and perfectly round. Lol
You dont need to cut the strut towers out to align it however. That is mostly done to allow easy access to setting camber for like track day etc. Once aligned...
At the end of the day it really is a very personal decision. I live in Florida were everything is flat and the roads quite decent. In your case however, sticking to 19" or 20" will benefit you going with coilovers. Remember though, coilovers aren't just for going low... they are about dialing in...
Took a few hours and countless measuring of my suspension setup to ensure these tire sizes would would, but I think the look and feel of them with the new wheels are going to be worth the extra time checking and measuring and checking and measuring some more! That's ALOT of meat going on the...
My default rates were 10k and 8k. With standard springs. I upgraded to the Swift up front going to a 9k as it actually rides like an 8k. I looked into BC. Their strut mount and coiltube are different. They use..iirc, progressive springs not linear. This is why the spring rates are 5k. On the...
Measuring for tires for my new BC Forged wheel set up.
Looking like I should be able to do a 275/35/21 up front and a massive 305/30 or 35/21 in the rear. I'll have to calculate side was aspect to ensure front and rear match as close as possible. Not pictured, I will have a set of the oem...
Of course bro. There are a TON of adjustments and tricks to getting these set up but it can be done. None worked with the Scales..lol Lmk if you need anything. I can just about do these in my sleep now
