  1. ACC 3 seconds after stopped

Sorry no one has answered your question, but I'm going to join the chorus of detractors anyway. I mean, you can't just push a button? ACC and lane-centering in stop and go mode is awesome - you don't even get squawked at to keep your hands on the wheel, as long as you're going slow enough...
  2. Toyota EPU all electric pickup concept debut today at Japan Mobility Show

Still waiting to see an EV pickup that will retail for sub $60k - we're still a long way off, but things like this might help. Design is cool, seems pretty functional (aside from the stupid yoke), but definitely would be interested in drivetrain/battery details. Fortunately, if all goes well...
  3. Polish before ceramic coat, or not?

Personally I wouldn't (didn't) polish before my ceramic coat, because my Mav is going to end up with swirls and scratches soon enough anyway. I suppose polishing first is the "right" way, but it's never going to a concourse show. However, take the time for proper prep (decon, prep wipe, follow...
  4. ? Not feeling trailer brake from brake pedal.

In my experience, you shouldn't have the gain set so high to feel the brakes anyway. The truck should still be doing most of the braking, so if your trailer brakes are operating strongly enough to affect the truck, they're cranked up too high. You don't want the tail wagging the dog, so to...
  5. Most waterproof hard tonneau

Diamondback is the answer to your question about weatherproof-ness, money no object. If that's not the answer you want, I think you've phrased your question incorrectly. If you want other capabilities, every other tonneau option I've researched will let moisture in somewhere; and if it's not...
  6. Senior citizen Maverick owners thread

This is the most Maverick Truck Club thread ever.
  7. One-pedal driving and lane keeping assist question

Thank you, this! An important distinction. The system works wonderfully, for what it is - which is an assistant and not auto-pilot. You still have to drive the truck, keep a little torque on the steering wheel, and pay attention, because it's not going to just drive for you.
  8. Can you add 4K Tow Package after the fact?

I'm willing to bet adding the additional cooling pieces and associated plumbing/wiring, changing the gear ratio, and adding/wiring the trailer brake controller and trailer harness would be well north of $2000 parts and labor. 100% agree that I would rather have this done at the factory though...
  9. T-Bone accident at red light. Can it be fixed if so how much?

Sorry this happened! Also, I wouldn't touch that truck. Going off those photos, don't waste your time or money to try and repair that. What we can't see is any structural damage and since new cars are meant to be sacrificial, it's likely there are some structural issues now. They make more...
  10. Inverter: modified or pure sine wave?

Also a fine strategy - my backseat is normally full if I have the fridge along and I have yet to put a 12v outlet in the bed. Either way, I personally still like having the power station in between for any extended stops en route to the destination.
  11. Probably the only truck that would fit in garage

If you got rid of the Prius, think of how many more motorcycles you could fit though!
  12. Inverter: modified or pure sine wave?

Pretty straightforward solution if you need mobile power that the factory inverter won't provide: portable power station. Something like Jackery, Bluetti, GoalZero, etc. Use the truck inverter to charge the power station and run all of your devices off of that - more power, more portable, and...
  13. Desperate, got one off the lot.

That white with the BAP is a pretty sweet spec! Nice find and just in time! I've done the moto-only thing for a bit too; even with good gear and heated grips, 50 degrees and raining is still pretty unpleasant.
  14. Real world fuel mileage MPG results by 2.0 EcoBoost owners - check in here

In my initial 1500 miles of basically 50/50 driving with a shorter commute, I've been in the 24-25 range; tolerable for me, honestly. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of range I can get on a longer trip though.
  15. Love the smart system when using FordPass to start the vehicle

There are two settings (somewhere in the gauge cluster menus) for the climate when you remote start: auto and last setting. With auto, the computer determines how to make the cabin comfortable. With last setting, it just runs whatever you had when you shut the truck off. I personally use...
  16. Smart Vincent and Dealership Invoicing

To answer this question specifically, most manufacturers invoice upon shipment.
  17. Build: Cactus Gray Maverick with XPEL Stealth PPF Wrap

If you look at the price of a full wrap as a percentage of the cost of your truck, it's going to seem expensive. If you don't, it'll still seem expensive. It's a lot of work. This looks totally righteous! Like a battleship!
  18. Color matched bumpers, skirts, tailgate handle + Grill bar contrast.

Depends on the application really. I'm happy that certain parts of the Mav are just black plastic and not beautifully painted, like this. That looks stunning, but for my application it would need a layer of PPF or it would be chipped to hell in about a month. Props to OP though - that is a...
  19. TPMS Sensors recommendations?

I had a set of winter wheels for my Subie that had TPMS from Tire Rack - if you do a wheel/tire package from them they'll install when mounting the tires. They worked flawlessly, other than needing to have the car reset every time I swapped wheels. Nope! The sensors are attached to the valve...
  20. Built 19th still waiting to ship...........

For what it's worth, I was able to get my railcar number from Ford chat. Using the steps in that thread was a big help after that.
