Just received my Wolfbox and I couldnāt agree more with your findings.
I find that the rear view 2.5k is just a little too grainy when driving. The front facing 4k really pops and I wish they would have switched the camera resolutions if both being 4k is not possible especially if displaying...
I donāt think itās entirely any design choices of the Maverick that makes it more prone to being rear-ended than any other vehicle. The majority of crashes are rear ending which is why in every vehicle I have owned I install a 3rd brake light modulator to flash a few times before going solid...
Yeah, the redesign 2025 headlights seem to be a bug carcass magnet in the gaps between the housing and fender/bumper. Feels good to know Iām not the only one.
I ended up doing a set of these since they cover both the plastic and metal areas of the door sill. They are okay, wish they were cut flat instead of a slight lip of the ends.
They do the job of protecting the sill from dog and toddler climbing up.
Maxzina Door Sill Protector...
With it turned on when I come to a complete stop in drive take my foot off the brake and it will hold the truck. Doesnāt work in reverse
I only really bother with it when in stop in go traffic/red light when going up a hill.
On my 25 hybrid the auto hold button is the row of buttons with the volume knob and the camera button.
Mine is that last button on the right with a hand in a circle.
Looks like if you have pro trailer assist then it is the first button on the left instead. Image attached of pro trailer
Super easy to remove. Take out the hitch pin then it just slides out and unplug from the rear of the led puck. The electrical connector has a rubber cover to protect it.
Found it to be easier to remove with a pin vs the plastic clip that comes on it.
This short has it installing but itās just...
Iāve had Garmin dash cams in the past two cars. Currently have a DC46 for the front and a Mini that Iāve had since 2019 with the only issue being MicroSD card failures. Both of them support connecting over Wi-Fi to make sure you align and transfer recordings though transfer is slow so I just...
A couple months back drove Kermit and the family down to Florida and it was an easy drive. I sat in the back with my kid for about four hours while my wife drove and was comfortable. My only item of note from the trip there and back again was I only averaged about 33 miles to the gallon in my...
Just finished up installed a @Diode Dynamics C1R + Brake hitch led module in my 2025 Lariat Hybrid with 4k tow and wanted to document some of the things I ran into to help reduce anyone else's headaches. Since I have 4k tow with Lariat trim I have both Co-Pilot360 and Co-Pilot Assist 2.0. This...
You have to shave the plastic tabs off the bulbsā sides to allow it to plug in. I used a box cutter to make it work m, it mentions it deep on DDās product page.
As things have been warming up with more bugs in the air, Iāve noticed a somewhat humorous trend with the new 2025 redesigned bumper and headlights. It seems that the gap between the bottom of the headlights and the bumper are a little deeper and seem to collect bugs. Not sure if it the air...
A few folks on here reported simply tapping into the taillight wire would cause issues with some of the copilot features like bliss. A recommended method was leveraging the Curt 4pin trailer harness since it uses separate always hot to power lights instead of robbing from the tail light circuit...
+1 for TuxMats. Iāve had weather tech and oem rubber mats in other vehicles and my foot would slip when wet. Weather tech would also roll on the sides. Not an issue with the tux as they include clips and they have best coverage.
Window tint and PPF are both done. I ended up doing ceramic 70% on the windshield and 35% all around to be within my state legal limit while also darkening the ~25 that was already on the rear. PPF for the front end - bumper, hood, and fenders.
Just broke 1,000 miles and had Kermit's first oil...
