Not if I have to wait another 6 months or more. All the constraints for MY22 will not be going away anytime soon. The MY23 will be almost identical to MY22 except financing will be much higher.
You need to be a member of the farm bureau for 30 days prior to accepting delivery at your dealer. Your dealer must agree to accept it. Most dealers should accept as it is a rebate from Ford and does not change dealer cost. Look on Fords website for instructions and exceptions.
@Ford Motor Company Ford needs to stop penalizing the customer for dealer errors. Afterall the dealer is an agent of Ford and this is Fords order entry system and should be monitored for errors by Ford's Customer Service Group. No way to run a business.
It may be Ford's rule but it is nothing more than a cop out by Ford and is just plain wrong. The customer should not be penalized because of Dealer error. They should schedule ASAP and if that is not possible they should offer a large discount to the customer for a 23my.
The discount has been in effect for over a year. It works! Ford acknowledge mine after I entered the certificate number online. It;s good until the end of 2022 and could be extended. For $20 the risk is low and reward high. My advice is Go for it!
Wow! I just got it too. Fortunately I was scheduled last week for 8/8/22 and given a VIN. Great communication Ford. It's a good thing I am a regular listener of the "Ford video Guy" and know I will get a MY22 this fall.
Sounds like this guy is sour grapes because he does not have a VIN number and probably won't get one before production ends for this MY because he waited until 1/26/22 to order. He wants to rain down on the others who are excited because they have received a VIN. Many who have been waiting for...
