I would write to Ford and NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs with copies of your documentation and demand that you be given priority scheduling production on your customer order for this coverup.

Yes but at least you know you are getting a vehicle this year. The rest of us are patiently waiting and hoping that our vehicle will be built this year. If not, we will have to start the process all over again. Count yourself lucky.
@fordmotorcompany agree this is a terrible change. Most people have not gotten any communication from Ford since order confirmation. We are all wondering if we will even get a vehicle this year and now you give us another 2 week blackout period. You are not providing basic customer service...

Looks to me like a "Pandora's Box" for potential lawsuits. Missing an accessory is one thing but installation of a chip by an aftermarket company or dealer that is supposed to be done by Ford?
