This sent me down a rabbit hole. Bizarrely, when I put my Lobo VIN in, the website doesn't refer to it as a Lobo. In fact, I have yet to find any parts listing that mentions Lobo. Some of them mention "Sport", "Sport 2", "Super Sport", "HD" or "with handling suspension". Makes me wonder if...

I guess a point of clarification here is necessary... Because of the difference in transmissions, the 2-3 shift in a Lobo 7-speed is effectively the 3-4 shift in any other 8-speed Maverick. I only experience this harshness at WOT acceleration in Lobo mode on the 2-3 shift. It doesn't happen...

My wife's then-new 2025 Honda Odyssey had a seatbelt sensor that died a month or two into ownership. It took two trips to the dealership and a total of 12 hours of sitting in the waiting room for them to fix it. This problem isn't unique to Ford dealerships.

I've done bulk mulch once (in an F-150) and IMHO bags are better for the typical suburban homeowner. Bags are just so much easier to move and position around the yard.

I looked it up just now. C&D tested a 2022 FX4 at 5.9 0-60 and 1/4-Mile 14.5 sec @ 95 mph. They later tested a '25 Lobo and got 0-60 in 5.8 but the exact same 1/4 mile performance. C&D does a 1 foot rollout in their acceleration testing- not sure if Motor Trend does the same...
