It's actually paint protection film. Not vinyl or plasti-dip. In my previous location, I had a paint booth and sprayed liquid vinyl (autoflex, halo, etc) but I wanted the protection of ppf, and a color I know, no one else has on their maverick lol...

That is cool. I like that green in the last pic. I had a Sagebrush Pearlcoat Ram close to that color.

Do you end up cutting into the paint while fitting the wrap?

Holy shit that green looks amazing! I would be stoked just to have it be that color all the time. Can't wait to see it finished.

I wonder what you mean by "cutting into the paint"? But the correct answer should be no. A correctly applied wrap is simply over the paint with no damage done to existing paint or parts.

I mean when trimming the wrap at the edges of the body is an exacto knife used and do you end up cutting into the paint to make the wrap fit?

If they do it would be poor quality work or a mistake. There should be no paint damage.
