Got notified today April 29th, via email from Ford, that my Rapid Red, First Edition, etc. is scheduled for production May 23! Only 8 months since order confirmation on Aug 31, 2021. I'm still smiling though and happy it's scheduled for production!

OK…. Stopped by dealership on Thursday to check status. Cody (my sales guy) walks over with a big smile….”Just came in today”… So all I can say is, HOLY S…!!!! Dealership (San Tan Ford Mesa AZ) people were the best I’ve ever dealt with and I’ve bought 12 new cars over the years. They honored everything (original DORA, x-plan and 1st Responder discount). Though I do have to take it back on Monday to have the ceramic coating done.
First 24 hr impression…. Well, not to repeat myself HOLY …. I was impressed with how, when I closed the drivers door, solid it closed reminding me a little of closing the old VW Bug.. air tight.

Now being a BB and listen to music the same way and styles, I gotta say I was concerned about the B&O. And so the first song I always play to check out any system is Steele Dan’s “Hey Nineteen” (nice crisp highs and mix of all ranges). DAMN I was not disappointed… now it probably won’t be the best with the heavy boom boom lows that shake windows, but I was ready for some Cuervo Gold and fine Columbian when it ended.

So as far as I’m concerned well worth the wait. A completely solid truck and with the FE, kinda luxury vehicle. Well done Ford and thanks to everybody at San Tan Ford.

Well, my production date for my FE, RR Maverick has moved twice, originally production week 23 May, then 30 May and now I received the email from Ford that it's now 6 June.
Fingers crossed it doesn't change again!!

Finally got mine! Traded in the A51 XL 2WD Ecoboost for my original order.

The AWD seems peppier than the 2WD especially from stationary. Overall the Lariat is a much more refined vehicle than the XL.

Love the color. Got my VIN and build date move to the end of June...hopefully have it by Aug!??

Have had a FE Rapid Red hybrid on order since July 1. Recieved a build week of 5/9 at the end of March and window sticker late April. Build week has since changed to 5/2, then 5/9 again, then 5/16, 5/23, 5/30, 6/6 and now 6/27. At least I know I will get my FE. Can't come too soon as I am paying $900-1200 a month for a rental since January as my main car has transmission problems. Couldn't see spending $8500 to fix on a $5500-6000 vehicle. For the amount of rentals I could have fixed the transmission.

Didn't think it was going to be this long. A $1000 beater is now $4000-5000.

MY build date has slipped to the week of July 4th. All I have to say is I hope the truck works better than the blanking tracking website!
