Towed my 19 foot fibreglass boat yesterday I predict it's probably 3000lb with trialer and gear a 30 km highway trip averaged 13.6 L/km in tow mode.
Maverick handled very well.

My brother in law only gets 8 MPG pulling his 32 foot camper with 3 bump-outs. His is not a hybrid but has a 6.7 liter hi output powerstroke diesel in a crew cab 8 foot bed F450 king ranch 4 X 4 ford pickup truck. That is 29 liters per 100 kilometers. An F150 with the 3.5L eco-boost would have done the job and got a little better fuel mileage with fuel $1.50 less per gallon. You got the right truck for the job.
