Maxzina-Maverick Upgraded Trash Can Available Now!

I received my Maxzina trashcan/cup holder today. I have a floor mat that covers the rear hump and the trashcan/cup holder I had before wouldn't lock into the FITS slot at all with the floor mats installed. This one does slide into the slot. It has sort of a two-step FITS adapter. With the floor mats it fits on the first notch. It's not quite as solid as I'd like, but it's not going anywhere and it's much better than just a simple cupholder insert.

My only suggestions for future development:

The cup holders being so close together means only small drinks can fit in them. The one thing I really liked about the other brand was the cup holders were farther apart and larger drinks could fit in them. If that trash can had been a fraction of an inch shorter so that it'd fit in the FITS slot, it would be perfect. This one is a close second, but the only one I can use at the moment.

The quality seems good. It looks nice.

I also purchased the Maxzina trash can/cup holder and have the Mabett trash can/cup holder.
For me, the Maxzina is a miss.

I like the Maxzina size and that it wraps around the console. The quality seems good. Moving the
cup holders a little further apart is a start.

However, I would suggest you look at the Mabett hinge and spring set-up in the center of the trash can flap. It is easier to push open and seems sturdier than the Maxzina" plastic pivots and springs on each side.

Also, the Mabett trash can flap is bigger/longer than the Maxzina allowing for larger items to be discarded. The Maxzina flap is too small.

The trash can is placed above the second row hump pad and will not affect the storage space under the second row seats. However, if you need to store related items on the hump pad, it will be affected.

I like it a lot overall, fits like its supposed to be there. Matches the oem floor liners. The lid design could be a little better, seems a bit stiff and like the springs overextend at full open, but it will work just fine for most of the trash that you'll create on a road trip that cant wait until a gas station. Cup holders are perfect. Grocery bags make the perfect liner if you orient the handles around the lid snaps.
