LOL Just the opposite here: My son was driving my Maverick yesterday and he complained about how big it felt compared to his mom's CRV that he usually drives.
The Maverick is over 1-1/2 feet longer than the CRV, but it's the same width and height (though the seating position is certainly higher).

Here my 2024 xlt next to some bigger trucks as well as a motorhome.i work at a truck shop so everything here is bigger than mine from jacked up trucks to the moon to full size motorhomes and tour busses.
Ha ha! Just like when I stand in a roll getting pics taken with my in-laws. They all carry their own basketballs.At work.

The two door Bronco (I almost bought one) is 174". So it's TWO feet shorter than the Maverick. In my dreams, Ford chops the back and sells a two door Bronco mini-truck that's maybe 179" long.

Yes, 2dr is even shorter, the 2dr Bronco is about the same length as my wife's Bronco Sport.

I was in a parking lot next to a 4-door crew cab GMC Canyon. I was thinking the Maverick HAS competition. This one had temporary plates but I don't know the model year.
Was nearly the same height and length as Maverick. The bed (I looked it up) was 5' instead of 4.5. Otherwise, very similar.
The pre-covid ones started at $21k. And had about the same engine and towing as Maverick.
2024's are $36k.
