2025 Maverick Job 2 Production Start Date?

Just starting this thread so that when Job 2 ordering banks open up, someone will post it here and notify us all. According to @fordvideoguy, Job 2 production will probably stay in January, with order scheduling starting in November.

As I have read in a number of posts, 2025 lariats are not expected to have pro trailer assist unless they are manufactured as part of job 2, which I guess will be after job 1 is completed. Why is this? Is it due to anticipated parts Unavailability? Thanks.

Looks like it requires a completely new tailgate skin and handle to fit the pro trailer assist camera. Guess that won't be ready right away?

Today I received an email announcement from Ford touting the new Maverick. It included a promo about the available pro trailer assist. I hope this means that got things sorted out and it will be available at the start of production.

Does anyone know if we need to wait to submit an order on a 2025 so that our vehicle is part of "Job 2" production and thus has all these features?So far the dealers I've contacted do not seem to know anything about "Job 2."

I'm not in a huge hurry for my 2025 as I'll likely trade in my 2023, but I would like it to include all the advertised features. I'm honestly annoyed with the $20 offer on the hotspot radio that wasn't included on my 2023. If it's only worth $20, how about I give you another $20 and you install the damn radio?

This is my main question also. My dealer does not know and has not heard back from Ford about when to place an order to ensure Job2 production. Currently I have a Job1 order scheduled but my dealer is understanding that I required Job2 so plan to place a new order once its clear.

Looks like Job 2 won't start until late February maybe. They still haven't scheduled anything for January yet. They just now finished off December last week.

I'm guessing that if the new administration imposes the promised tariffs, there will be significant production delays. It will likely take a while to sort that out.

From my understanding, Trump has threaten tariffs on Mexico if they don't cooperate on curbing illegal immigration. If tariffs are imposed on Mexico, it probably will not happen the first half of 2025.

I was just thinking yesterday that I need to visit dealer and put in an order before the proposed tariffs take effect.

Does anyone have a date yet when it's safe to place an order for Job 2? For that matter, what is Job 1 missing out on?

I imagine it would take a while for the new tariffs to begin and even so I think many on both sides of the political spectrum will argue that they will be ineffective so I'd like to think we have some time. Then again Ford, will raise the prices for 2026 so we may as well put in our orders.

I got an email from my salesman that said according to his system it showed my truck, which should be job 2, is set for production in the week of December 30th

Did your salesperson have confirmation your truck will be job 2? From what I read, Job 2 production will start either in January or February.
