I bought all the parts separately. I'll have them all by December.
The black plastic that the Chinese sent you is to cover the excess space. It is the only thing that cannot be bought separately.

100% - I also found some black rubber stripping can be used and makes it fairly un- noticeable. The metal bracket does work as well after they remove the center metal attachment point from the screen.

Is your harness going to be compatible with installing sync 3 as well. I’m concerned jumping to 4 as those who have done it had issues communicating with the TCU and Fordpass.

Hmm are you talking about using a sync 3 APIM and trying a bigger screen ?

Ahhhh Ok I got it - That Im not sure of because mine is a Lariat already. I would think that the connector would work but I would check out this thread tho for a non Lariat -

Just confused on making harness. Some said they go right off acm connector, others say you gotta splice into the GWM… was hoping there’d be a p&p kit at this point.

No the Xlt and xl doesn’t have an apim. Need custom harness to split the only acm connector present into acm and apim connections. But those who made it are long gone from this site. And no company is making p&p yet.
