7 month review, Maverick Ecoboost

After 7 months and 5,027 miles, I am still happy with my truck. The gas mileage averaged 29.5 over the last 1,000 miles. The ride and handling continue to be very good. The truck has only had one recall and no problems. I am using full synthetic oil and plan on oil changes every 4,000 to 5,000 miles. I would recommend the Maverick Ecoboost. It is a good blend of power and good mpg!

Questions- How many miles did you put on engine before the first oil change??
What oil are you using?
Oil filter?
Did you add any oil additives like Lucas Oil Stabilizer?

I am using 5w-30 Full synthetic oil. Have the work done at a local garage. They use Wix filter and Wix oil to factory specs. I don't use any additives. Use top tier gas. Changed oil at 1500 miles for the first change. Will get future changes at 4,000 to 5,000 miles.
