Quick measurement Front 2 1/2 H 6 1/2 W Back 4 H 9 W
@ffjack15
Can I ask what the measurement represents? Is it strictly the blue medallion or is it from the edge of the chrome to edge of the chrome?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you
Quick story……….
When we got married in ‘81, wife had an ‘80 Citation, I had a
‘78 Accord, both of which had bolt-on logos in the grilles. As a lark, I switched them. We were on a road trip, when we stopped at one of those drive-thru oil change stations. I drove over the pit where the guy drained the oil, pulled the filter, glanced at the bowtie in the grille and proceeded to look through a bible-sized reference book to find the appropriate filter.
Couldn’t find it……
Climbed out and circled the car a couple of times, went back down, flipped a few more pages……
Climbed out again, circled again, looked at me and said
“Chevy is making a real nice looking car these days “.
This was in 1982/83, when the car was already 4-5 years old!
Already checked to see if the blue oval was reasonably easy to remove on my coming Mav. (Don’t need no stinkin’ badges!) Doesn’t look like it.

It isn't. Apparently you have to remove the entire bumper and a layer or two of other stuff to get at it. Look for Mr Boom's video about removing the bumper on youtube.

Mr. Boom didn't have a Lariat. I've heard they are different. Does anyone know?

Even if they are different it's unlikely that the method of mounting them changes much from model to model.

Agree on the Tailgate. Not so sure about the Grille.
But that's okay. Just trying to plan ahead.

Sooo…….
Nice brisk chilly day today. Temp about 45-50, sunny. Great day for a walk. Drove down to Plymouth. Parked near the Mayflower.
And….Came upon my first Maverick in the wild! Carbon gray, EB
AWD. Mass plates. Semi-local guy doing some sightseeing,no doubt.
Checked out the grille. Not promising without surgery. The oval is molded as part of the crossbar athwart the grille. Maybe, but moved WAY down the to-do list.
