That can only happen if the can isn't full and it gets colder than the dew point AND there is sufficient humidity in the air inside the can to condense. Store them full and you will never have a problem.

Also stabil is basically a waste of money if you keep them full. Jerry cans seal well enough that they don't off-gas or oxidize. Rotate the fuel once a year and never worry about it again. Been doing it that way for years.
But it can happen so the point is valid. I'd rather treat them all the same so I don't have to keep track of what is what.

What video? Honestly, I was a little disappointed that the 110v plug wasn't standard as shown in the Ford site. I'm not sure what to do with a 12v plug.
Install your own 110V using the 12v wire harness.

Any thoughts on jerry can mounts in the maverick? I’m thinking about it but was not sure about drilling holes.
Rotax gas can are probably much better, safer and easier to mount. Lots of us motorcycle people use Rotax gas containers, 1, 1.5, 2, + gallon cans with mounts available for the bed rail.
You could easily mount a little metal plate in one of the pre-drilled holes In the side of the bed and attach a Rotax bracket. You can then take off the gas tank with the simple twist of a knob.

I realized that my truck had this wire in my glove box. What is it for??? Did the dealer forget to install something?

FYI, you can pay way too much and buy the OP's eBay auction at $59.99 or just order Ford Part #14A318 for MSRP of $31.33 or less if you shop around.

It looks like NZ6T-12663 is the FoMoCo OEM part number.

Why on earth Ford doesn't have that or FlexBed or something other than "Wiring Lamps - Rear" in the search text where it will come up is beyond my comprehension.

I thought I read somewhere it’s supposed to come with two. But I only had one as well.
Ford charges $59.95 for the pig tail. Aftermarket price varies from $9.29 to $14.95. Amazon, ebay, Walmart all have it.

Back in the day when I worked on the assembly line, if we had extra parts after the vehicle rolled off the line, we would put the extra stuff in the glove compartment. Some items were too bulky and we pout them in the back seat.

You should also have a special funnel for fueling with a gas can as well . This is only used for adding gas from a separate plastic gas containers ( I know they aren't made of metal anymore for you skeptics that are sarcastic ) .
So that’s what the funnel is for!
