A few shots from yesterday at Snow Canyon State Park. Wife, daughter and I went for a sunrise hike.

Awesome. The Mav looks sweet. You're inspiring me to lower my Alto Blue Lariat. I have the lowering springs, but haven't taken the time to install them. I am worried about losing ride quality. Thanks for sharing. Keep em coming.

You will certainly lose some of the factory ride quality, but the Silver's are well engineered and don't ride poorly at all. They ride like a performance car.

Alto Blue has always been high on my list of colors. Post some pics and tell us what you're doing with it!

I've had my @Diode Dynamics fogs for a little more than a week but just found some time today to work on them.

Front bumper is off and I just finished cutting the holes. A multi-tool is AWESOME for this kind of stuff!

I was going to do a step-by-step until I opened the box and saw the instructions (QR code). Wow! This is an extremely well documented process that DD did a great job on! No need to detail the process here, but as always, DD's products are super high quality!

Do get a second set of hands to help with the removal of the bumper. This one got away from me for just a split second and the mounting on the bumper had a separation. Totally my fault. I'll epoxy it before I reinstall it.

Finished up the install this morning. Really, REALLY loving these lights and I havent even gotten to use them in the dark yet!

Instructions were STELLAR. Only one item that was a little confusing was when the video referred to the "white wire." There are two white wires (two harnesses) but they actually connect in the kit. Just WATCH the instructions and put the main harness white wire out of mind, even though you were just handling it, LOL.

Sun is still up so here are some daytime pics.

Lights off. I think I'm liking the contrast with the black surrounds... at least for now. There was a lot of Hot Pepper Red up front and this kind of breaks it up.

Headlights and fogs are on. Found a small place with shade.

Thanks @Diode Dynamics these are great! I'm counting the time for the sun to go down.

Hot Pepper with bronze wheels is such a good combo
I agree the black surrounds do a good job of balancing the red in the front
Now to get the Air Design front lip….
Will that be painted as well? I bet so

Ha! You're biased!

I'm pretty disgusted with Air Design at this point. I had always intended to purchase one, never asked for or expected a free product. Was promised an early product simply for the ability to get it painted and installed right away and they were welcome to use my photos.

ZERO RESPONSE following promises made at SEMA.

When I tried to communicate with them a while back about my F150 they seemed either disinterested or just unprofessional

i hope you eventually get the lip, because i want to see it painted before i peer pressure myself into getting one

That's the response (or lack-thereof) I'm getting. I pressed simply because THEY OFFERED and said they were familiar with and followed both of my builds. 🤷‍♂️

Word to the wise regarding the @Diode Dynamics fog lights... if you're as low as I am you're going to have to get super creative to adjust them! I'm still working on how to do it.

Nothing new to speak of, just clicked 28,000 miles on the odometer a few days ago.

I built a quick mount for my wife and my gravel bikes. The forward "2X4 slot" was too far forward with the rolling tonneau, so I used the section between the fender wells.

I drilled the existing holes slightly larger and put rivnuts in them, the a 10/24 screw down through the 2X4. Two front axle mounts from Amazon for about $10 each and I'm stylin'.

I haven't done much in the way of modifications to the Maverick recently, other than a bunch of ForScan modifications. However, I'm at almost 38,000 on the odometer because I love driving this thing.

No surprise, I had a CV fail. They're not bad to replace if you have some basic mechanical understanding and tools. Took about 2 hours, next time it will be 45 minutes. I found a video on YouTube for 2012-19(?) Focus... Focuses? Focii? Anyway, the procedure is identical for the Mavericks.

Ford and their dealerships are well aware of the alarming rate of failure of CV's, but were unwilling to warranty mine because my truck is modified. My issue is - bone stock trucks are losing these at 14k and my angles are STILL within the CV's specs while the suspension cycles AND when turning. So what gives, Ford? When will this be remedied and when can we expect compensation for parts and labor for prematurely failing parts? I know, I know, you don't have an answer for this.

I modify my vehicles and this comes with the territory. I'm used to this kind of stuff, I know manufacturer's engineers didn't intend for us to do what we do... but I'll bet they hope we do!

Am I mad? Nope. I'm so NOT mad that I stopped by the dealership today and placed an order for a '25. XL hybrid AWD, Eruption Green and a hitch with 4 pin harness, priority code 03. Yes, it will be modified too. I may purchase a few extra CV's to keep on my shelf though so I don't have to wait.

Yes, my HPR Lariat hybrid will be available for adoption as the '25 gets near.

Obligatory pic at the Ford dealership surrounding by boring (stock) trucks.

My dealer swapped my failed CV axle without issue knowing full well lowering actually gives it a better overall angle (pretty sure that is right)
Wish you were closer so I could adopt your lower painted bits when the time comes
Eruption green is such a good color and also looks good with bronze wheels

Can’t wait to see how yours comes out
