Yes, and with the Maverick appealing to the "AARP" crowd (I guess I qualify, I'm freaking 66 years old), they stand a good chance of losing some of the younger market because - think about it - even though my daughters are in their late 30s, they STILL don't want to buy something that their dad likes. So.... watch for Ford to fumble around with the Maverick advertising next year while they try to figure out who their target really is.I found that the responses were interesting and also not very surprising. Young people today are in low paying jobs, high cost locations and quite frankly I have no idea how without help from parents they can afford to servive in this economy.
My childeren are living in my other home and paying me rent that just coversthe property tax bill. $1000.00 a month in an area that commands rents of over $2500 a month and I even pay utilitities for them, and yes they do work sometimes very long hours for little pay
The Ford people may have gotten the demographic market wrong, but boy is it a bargain for us old "boomer" types
Old enough to know better, young enough to not care.I would be interest to know members age and occupation.
Ahhhh, I see the typo now. In your posting you referred to it as a '68 (which did not come as a convertible), in your vehicles listing you show as a '63, which did. I had a '69 back in the day, was the first car I bought myself.Totally stock.. we have owned in, my wife and I since high school…. We got it from original owner in 1968…. Same year I graduated high school…
Take a Chill Pill..... I think many are reverting to sarcasm because of their understandable frustration with the delivery delay(s)..... Have the Greatest of Days!!!!!Ok fine...how do I do that. Nothing nefarious here just a simple question. No one is giving up any real personal information. While I hold several degrees my first is in Sociology and it has remained an interest...why do people do what they do in groups. Didn't mean to start a fire storm. Just wondering what the average age of forum posters might be as well as what they might do for a living. Are they students? Long time career people? etc. No one is required to devolve any information. And sarcasm is certainly not required.
