I really don’t see how some say they don’t get ANY water in, I would consider yourself really lucky and wouldn’t ever think about taking it off because with the way the Mav is designed it seemed impossible to get it waterproof. I’ve removed mine, used some black silicone in certain areas and tightened the bolts up really tight. Still leaks, so whoever you are that have covers that don’t leak, I hate you 😆

I have tried multiple variations of weatherstripping on my Rough Country Tri fold, and now have just a moderate leaking cover.

Even those folks with drain tubes have leaking.
It's just inherent in the design of the bed.
No place to drain.

Water from the sides.

I think more water leaks in on the side. That gap needs to be filled with some weatherstripping and sealer

Thank you for the suggestion.
For me it's a truck. The only reason that I have a Hard Tonneau cover is on there is to keep prying eyes out and to keep someone from slicing it open with a cheap box cutter just for kicks or looking for stuff to sell.
The stuff that I want to keep dry, I keep in the blue container.
Thank You again 😊

I tried some weatherstripping and sealant for the sides. It did mitigate a lot of the leaking

Thanks for the tip. Just looking things over, thought this gap would need to be addressed as you pointed out along with Bruce W and Glen B. Figured may have to do some extra leak mitigation, but as long as I don't get major water intrusion I will be happy. Kind of expect maybe getting small amounts in the corners. Now just waiting for my cover to come in and begin the adventure. Thanks everyone for the tips, thoughts and pictures!
