Just wondering if anyone here has encountered the message saying "System off to save battery" and below it says "Please turn ignition off or start engine." There is also a little green progress bar below the messages on the screen. I am seeing the message on the screen inside the vehicle. Not seeing any deep sleep messages or any messages pertaining to this issue in the Ford app.

I will say this in on a 2023 Ford Escape Hybrid (AWD) but I believe the hybrid system is the same on the Escape except ours had AWD. If you have encountered this message can you please point me to the discussion and I would love to know what the final outcome was for the fix. Knock on wood the vehicle seems to be running fine and has around 21K miles on it currently.

Early on around 900 miles we had issues with the audio going out completely and they initially did a master reset which didn't work. Around 1300 miles they replaced the DSP module and reprogrammed it and that fixed the audio issue.

Took it in around 4300 miles as the vehicle was going into deep sleep mode all the time. It was determined the 12V battery was bad and it was replaced under warranty. Fast forward and now at the 21K mile mark we are getting the message I talked about above. I'm not sure if this message is something to do with the 12V battery again or the actual hybrid battery. Again if anyone has any info on this please advise.

Context is important. Are you sitting in accessory mode listening to the radio?
No not doing anything with accessory mode. Just drove the vehicle to work this morning (30ish mile commute) and get the message when I shut it down. Also got the message yesterday after moving the vehicle from the driveway to the garage. I think this is the fourth or so time I've gotten the message but it's now happened the last two times it's been driven.

Also I edited my initial post to recap the issues we encountered with the Escape this far.

Not seeing this message on my Maverick but on my 13yo Prius with near end of life traction battery I get similar words if left on in neutral for a minute or three. How is your mpg? A bad traction battery will have poor milage.

Mileage is just as good as it was before. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the 12V battery (again) and hopefully not the hybrid battery.

This Fall I plan to swap out the original 12 volt battery from my 2022 with a Diehard H5 AGM battery. I mostly ignore the Deep Sleep messages. Truck starts regardless.
