Do these require PPF to keep them from rubbing the paint on the outside of the wheelwell?
I wish I thought of that with the PPF before I installed my Ford ones. I guess I'm going to get some and do an uninstall and reinstall lol.

I kept seeing things about the Ford ones rubbing and I found some on Amazon that I think would normally rub in the same area but came with some PPF film in the box to install before the flaps.

These look different than Mabett's which is what I have. Mabett's don't touch the paint so no PPF film needed.

Hello.
The mudguard will not damage paint outside of the wheelwell. You can take a look at the photos we just took. There are gaps present.

"Fixed" daughters BS Badlands Ford flaps last fall with some black rubber fender washers. Installed between the flap and the fender, gave enough gap to wash out with the garden hose. 👍

I like the rear coverage on these by Maxzina, might be better coverage than my Roks.

Does the rear mudflap cover the gap in the driver side rear wheel well? It looks more squared off compared to a lot of other brands.

probably anything that won't crack and fall out from UV or ozone exposure.

Installed mine today. I’d say there’s enough of a gap to not need PPF, would everyone agree?
